Longbai continues to layout lithium battery materials and expand its titanium dioxide post-processing capacity

Longbai Group is a large chemical enterprise group committed to deep integration of the titanium and zirconium industry chain and research and development of new materials manufacturing. After years of continuous exploration, the company has established a green development system for the titanium industry chain, which includes titanium ore mining and processing, coupled production of sulfuric acid and chloride titanium dioxide, and comprehensive utilization of sponge titanium and waste by-products. Its main titanium dioxide production capacity exceeds 1 million tons per year, ranking among the world's top in scale. This time, Longbai Group will stage the construction of a "150000 ton/year battery grade lithium iron phosphate project" and a "200000 ton/year titanium dioxide post-treatment expansion project" in Nanzhang County. After the completion of the project, more than 1000 new jobs will be created, comprehensively driving the economic development of Nanzhang County and promoting population employment.

It is understood that the total investment for the 150000 ton/year battery grade lithium iron phosphate production line signed this time is 2 billion yuan, which will be constructed in two phases. The first phase will build a new 150000 ton/year iron phosphate project, and the second phase will extend the construction of a 150000 ton/year lithium iron phosphate project. At the same time, the group will also implement a titanium dioxide post-treatment expansion project at the Xiangyang base, mainly relying on existing production lines, supporting public and auxiliary engineering, and living facilities. The total investment is 1 billion yuan, and a 200000 ton/year titanium dioxide post-treatment production line will be built.
